Podcasts for learning japanese
July 1st, 2005 by heatherI’ve found two audio good sources (so far) from various Japanese-related audio feeds.
Guzen Radio tells about living in Japan, so that’s interesting from a cultural point of view, and in English. It used to be called 3 Monkeys Radio, and features english speakers talking about living in Japan. He does use a little Japanese.
Nippon has a woman speaking and telling about cultural points in Japan. She speaks too fast for me to understand at this point, but I was able to pick up some keywords. Hopefully these will make sense to me at some point.

‘tolerate’ is the key word. some podcasts are um… a little boring.
i’m biding my time until a japanese lesson pod cast comes on board. and not an hour long. more like 20-30 mins max.
this is a good one for learning spanish: Johan van Rooyen’s Really Learn Spanish

please let me know how i can become more tolerable. as with many things, once you do it for a while, you get into a swing of things, and bad habits start to form.
if you have any suggestions, please let me know by emailing me or something.
i honestly would like to hear any help you may have! i’m all about improving the cast to make it more enjoyable! thanks for listening at least!
take care,
josh

i’m sorry! i wasn’t specifically referring to your own podcast. in fact, i was thinking of *another* well known one.
i’ll give it a listen! i see you have japanese lessons mixed in, and you put alot of time into the site with pics. looks edumacational.

i wouldn’t really say i have them mixed in. i just pick two phrases a week and include them. it’s not much, but it’s something.
thanks for checking out the blog!

You don’t need to “tolerate” anyone’s podcast. No one’s got a gun to your head forcing you to listen.

herro, rich. don’t be bothered by those who don’t listen to your show. keep on doing what you’re doing. it all looks good. it’s just not my cup of tea.
the more the merrier! i think self-published podcasts are great.
