I’m just starting out, at a very basic level. I began in July this year, and decided to keep the learning journal because I knew it would help me be serious about this.
My personal goal is to have survival Japanese, and be able to navigate and feed myself in Japan. I wrote more about my learning goals. I plan on going there in the winter to mooch off of Ronan while I try to find work. My main interest is travelling and learning Japanese. I want to get the most out of my time there. I lived in Taiwan before, and my main regret was not having studied Chinese before I went there, and spending way too much time working.
I want to learn Japanese
I used to call this site ‘Learning Japanese’, then I got that association with the song stuck in my head: “I think I’m turning Japanese”… so I’ve changed the name yet again, to reflect what it is I’m aiming for. And anyway do you know what that song actually means?
